Finding Help

Visit us at the Student Centre desk in the libraries at Cavendish, Harrow, or Marylebone campuses. We can provide help, information, and guidance about a diverse range of services and support. We can also book appointments for you to speak with the relevant service.

Our Academic Engagement Librarians and Learning Developers are also able to offer support - see your subject guide for further information.

Study Space

All libraries provide designated group, individual and distanced individual study space. Posters clearly identify these spaces. For the safety and comfort of all, please respect the guidelines outlined on the posters. If you need further information, please check with Student Centre staff onsite.

Group Study - Room Bookings: You can book group study rooms at our libraries at Cavendish and Marylebone campuses using the booking service available through timetabling.

Rooms can be booked for the current week and a week in advance.

Each study group:

• should consist of at least 3 people
• can book a room for up to 2 hours a day
• can book for a maximum of 4 hours a week

Harrow Library has two rooms on the first floor that you can use for group study and you don't need to book them in advance. 

Other available study spaces: The University has launched a new service that allows you to see what teaching spaces are not currently booked for teaching and available for you to use as a quiet study space. Find out more about this on the University webpages

Borrowing and Returning Books

Book collections across all libraries are open. You can browse the shelves and borrow items on our self-service machines.

If you are a completed student and unable to come on site, please contact us via Chat or studentcentre@westminster.ac.uk to discuss how to return your books.
