How do I return my books?

You can return books to any of our libraries, regardless of which library you borrowed them from.

If you are a completed student and are unable to come on campus to return your books, please contact us via chat or ask-a-librarian@westminster.ac.uk

Will I be able to access the physical book stock?

Access to the physical book collection at all libraries is now available.

Our online library continues to grow and offers a wealth of material. If you have trouble locating the resources you need for your studies contact us via chat or ask-a-librarian@westminster.ac.uk and one of our friendly team can support you.

Where can I study?

You can study in any of our libraries and you no longer need to book a space. All libraries provide designated group, individual and distanced individual study space. Posters clearly identify these spaces. For the safety and comfort of all, please respect the guidelines outlined on the posters. If you need further information, please check with library staff on site.

For those who continue to work at home we have created a guide on how to do group work online.

What can I do if I am not confident using the Library or get stuck with my assessments?

We have a great team of Library colleagues on hand to help you learn how to use the Library. Our Academic Engagement Librarians will advise you on making the most of our resources, alongside colleagues who deliver sessions on a range of skills including referencing, assignments, preparing for exams and dissertations.  Our online chat service is available throughout the day and we can help you make the most of the Library.

Can Alumni students use the library?

The University policy at this time is that only current Westminster staff and students are allowed on site, so unfortunately there are no onsite Library Services for Alumni.
