Our Library is open online and there are millions of materials available to support your studies at your fingertips. Alongside this we have a wide range of services to help you make the most of the resources, including a chat service, bookable appointments and training with our specialist colleagues. There is a wealth of information using our Library guides that are designed to support you in getting the best out of the Library.
You can return books (including those from Regent Library) to Cavendish, Harrow and Marylebone libraries.
Access to the physical stock isn't currently possible but you can request items via our click and collect service
Our online Library continues to grow and offers a wealth of material. If you have trouble locating the resources you need for your studies contact us via chat or firstname.lastname@example.org and one of our friendly team can support you.
Many of our students enjoy studying at home and have appreciated learning more about using the online Library and accessing our virtual resources. However, we know that it doesn’t suit all of our students so it's now possible to book a study space if you really need one. These are very limited in number so we ask that they are used only by those who have little capacity to study at home.
We recognise that group work is still important for learning and assessment, and although it can't happen in our study spaces we have created a guide to help students with ideas on how to do group work online.
We have a great team of Library colleagues on hand to help you learn how to use the Library. Our Academic Liaison Librarians will advise you on making the most of our resources, alongside colleagues who deliver sessions on a range of skills including referencing, assignments, preparing for exams and dissertations. Our online chat service is available throughout the day and we can help you make the most of the Library.
Every library will assess how to approach opening their physical spaces in light of their own situation. We are constantly reviewing our approach and alongside our colleagues in Estates and Health, Safety and Wellbeing, have decided to open to a limited extent to ensure the safety of everyone visiting the library.
The University policy at this time is that only current Westminster staff and students are allowed on site, so unfortunately there are no onsite Library Services for Alumni.
