In-Person Sessions

For Semester 1 we are offering two in-person session for Doctoral Researchers with lunch provided by the Graduate School Office.

Aside from covering the content list, this will also be a great opportunity for you to network and engage with your peers, as well as find out more about what library services are on offer to you.

  • Digital Tools to Help with your Research (1hr)
  • Lunch Break with Lunch Provided
  • Introduction to Zotero (1hr)
  • half hour Q&A with the academic engagement librarians

12 December 2024

  • Defying writer's block: Using mind maps to generate, visualise and structure ideas (2hr)
  • Lunch provided and half hour Q&A with the Learning Developer

Online Sessions

The AELD team delivers academic and research skills sessions tailored to Doctoral Researcher needs.

This includes:

  • Literature Searching
  • Introduction to RefWorks
  • Critical Thinking and Argumentation
  • Effective use of sources in your work
  • Academic Voice and language
