Architecture and Cities: Need More Help?

This guide covers the courses delivered within the Architecture + Cities School

Upcoming Training Sessions

We have three upcoming in person Research and Referencing Skills Refresher Workshops led by Sergei (Academic Engagement Librarian for Architecture and Cities)

What:

The session will begin with a brief 30-minute reminder on:

🔹 Library Catalogues
🔹 Databases
🔹 Google Scholar
🔹 Library Guides
🔹 Referencing

We’ll then have time for questions, and students are invited to discuss their current research projects so we can collaboratively explore effective strategies for finding information.

This is a casual session, so you are welcome to join for just the presentation, or the whole session. I’ve scheduled the workshop for two hours so there is lots of time for relaxed conversation, however we may finish sooner depending on the number of questions and length of discussion.

Who is this session for?

This session is for students doing any course which sits within the School of Architecture and Cities. The session is particularly aimed at students who are currently undertaking research as part of their dissertations, however if you are researching for another assignment such as an essay or report you should still benefit and are more than welcome to join us.

Where:

Marylebone Library 1st Floor training room.
