Academic learning development

The Academic Learning Development team offers support to improve academic and lifelong sklls, including academic writing and study skills. Areas includes:

  • Assignment writing
  • Critical thinking
  • Time management
  • Presentations
  • Reflective writing

Support includes:

  • Dissertation programme: sessions on all stages of dissertation writing
  • Academic skills Q&A: drop in to ask a Learning Developer questions on any academic skills topic
  • Appointments with a Learning Adviser on academic writing, study skills, research etc.
  • Online guides on academic skills
