Our team is made up of Academic Engagement Librarians and Learning Developers. We work closely together to support students to develop academic and lifelong skills, including academic writing, critical thinking, researching, and study skills. We offer workshops every term and individual appointments which can be booked through Engage

Our library guides will help you get started in researching your subject; understanding how to use Library Search and how to cite and reference everything correctly. There are also subject guides to get you started in finding library material for your studies.

Our Academic skills guides will help you to think and read critically; Learn how to study for exams; read more effectively and take notes; write essays, reports, and reflective accounts; express your ideas in academic English; learn onlinemanage your time and prepare presentations.
